 Stuart Turner Steam Engines


Stuart Turner Horizontal Steam Engine H10 machined from castings and bar stock in 1984. Size is 3 1/2 by 6 inches. Bore and stroke are 3/4 inches. Flywheel is 3 inches.

Stuart Turner S50 Mill Engine, 1984. Size is 3 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches. Bore is 5/8, stroke is 1 1/4 inches. Flywheel is 3 3/4 inches.

 

Another Stuart Turner S50 in the castings stage. To be machined starting in mid-2013.

 

 

Stuart Turner Beam Engine purchased in 1984 and never completed. Restarted machining in October 2011. Size is about 5 1/2 by 13 inches. Bore is 1 inch and stroke is 2 inches. Flywheel diameter is 7 inches.

Stuart Turner Vertical Steam Engine, V10 castings as received in June 2013. The crankshaft is no longer an iron casting as before but is to be fabricated from steel rod and bar.
